According to the "Regulations on Motor Vehicle Inspection Procedures," changing the color of wheel hubs does not require filing, but the size of the wheel hubs must not be altered. For changes to the vehicle body color, Article 6, Chapter 2 of the "Road Traffic Safety Law" stipulates that if the changed area does not exceed 30% of the vehicle's total color, no registration for modification is required. Conversely, if it exceeds 30%, filing is necessary, and registration must be completed within 10 days after the color change. Notes on Vehicle Color Change: Before changing the color of a motor vehicle, it is necessary to consult the vehicle management office where the vehicle is registered to confirm whether the local region permits such modifications. If the region does not support this practice, filing procedures cannot be processed after the modification, and the vehicle must be restored to its original color. Documents required for applying to change the vehicle body color include: "Application Form for Motor Vehicle Modification Registration." Original and photocopies of the identity documents of the vehicle owner and agent. Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate. Motor Vehicle Driving License. Additionally, according to the "Motor Vehicle Registration Regulations," owners are no longer required to apply to the vehicle management office in advance. They can first change the vehicle color, install body kits, replace the engine, etc., and then apply to the vehicle management office for modification registration. According to Article 10, registered motor vehicles must apply for modification registration under the following circumstances: Change of body color. Replacement of the engine. Replacement of the body or frame. Whole vehicle replacement due to quality issues. Change of use nature, such as converting a commercial vehicle to a non-commercial vehicle or vice versa. The vehicle owner's residence moves out of or into the jurisdiction of the vehicle management office. Furthermore, according to Article 15 of the "Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China": Police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, and engineering rescue vehicles must spray emblem patterns and install alarms and signal lights as required. Other motor vehicles are prohibited from spraying, installing, or using emblem patterns, alarms, or signal lights exclusive to or similar to those of the aforementioned vehicles. Article 56 of the "Motor Vehicle Registration Regulations" states that if the body color is changed without completing the required modification registration, the public security traffic management department may issue a warning or impose a fine. The vehicle may also be impounded and required to revert to its original color.

From a regulatory perspective, wheel color changes typically don't require registration. Having modified my own car's wheels several times, I'm quite familiar with this issue. In China, traffic regulations require registration with the vehicle management office for body color changes like repainting, but wheels are considered auxiliary decorations that don't affect license plates or core identification information. As long as the color change doesn't alter wheel size or structure, and doesn't involve reflective safety strips, it won't cross legal boundaries. I remember last time I changed my wheels to metallic blue - just had it done professionally without any paperwork, and drove for two years without issues. However, a word of caution: if dark colors overly cover the tire specification engravings making them illegible, it might cause problems during annual inspections. It's advisable to check local traffic regulations or consult authorities beforehand to ensure compliance. Before starting, choose high-quality color films or paints to avoid peeling issues later.

How to Turn On the Car's Low Beam Headlights?

The method to turn on the car's low beam headlights is: push the lever forward one notch to activate the low beams, push it one more notch to switch to high beams, and pulling it back returns to the low beams. Below is an introduction to low beam and high beam headlights: 1. Generally, pushing the switch towards the engine compartment position will keep the high beams on continuously; pulling it back one notch turns off the high beams and restores the low beams; pushing it one more notch towards the driver's side temporarily flashes the high beams, and releasing the switch automatically returns it to the low beam position. This is commonly used to alert vehicles in the opposite lane, known as alternating between high and low beams. 2. If the high beam lever is pushed outward, the condition for turning on the high beams is that the low beams must be on. Otherwise, operating it in other light positions will not activate the high beams. However, pushing it inward to flash the high beams once is not restricted and can be done even when the car lights are off.

What Causes the Steering Wheel to Pull to One Side in a New Car?

The reasons for a car's steering wheel pulling to one side include the following: 1. Uneven tire pressure on the left and right sides: The higher the tire pressure, the smaller the contact area with the ground, resulting in less rolling resistance for the wheel. The vehicle will tend to pull towards the side with relatively lower pressure. 2. Uneven tread wear on the left and right tires: The tire surface has a layer of rubber tread with a certain thickness. As the vehicle is used, the tread thickness gradually decreases. A tire with more tread wear is equivalent to a smaller diameter, causing the vehicle to pull towards the side with more tread wear when driving. 3. Poor piston retraction in the brake caliper on one side of the vehicle: When the brake piston on one wheel does not retract properly, it increases the rolling resistance on that side, causing the vehicle to pull towards the side with increased resistance. 4. Inaccurate wheel alignment: If the camber angles of the wheels on both sides are inconsistent, the vehicle will tend to pull towards the side with a larger outward tilt angle.

What Are the Hazards of High PAO Content Engine Oil?

The hazard of high PAO content engine oil is significant synthetic damage. Composition: Engine oil consists of two parts: base oil and additives. The base oil is the main component of lubricating oil, determining its basic properties, while additives are an important part of lubricating oil. Types of Engine Oil: SAE lubricating oil viscosity classifications for winter use include grades such as 0W, 5W, 10W, 15W, etc. The symbol W stands for winter, and the smaller the number before W, the lower the low-temperature viscosity and the lower the applicable minimum temperature. SAE lubricating oil viscosity classifications for summer use include grades such as 20, 30, 40, 50, where the larger the number, the higher the viscosity and the higher the applicable maximum temperature. SAE lubricating oil viscosity classifications for all-season use include grades such as 5W-20, 5W-30, 5W-40, 5W-50, 10W-20, etc.

What is the displacement of the Volkswagen Lamando 230?

The displacement of the Volkswagen Lamando 230 ranges between 4.4L-5L at 90km/h. Classification of car displacement: In China, the classification of passenger cars is determined by the size of the displacement. Mini cars have a displacement of ≤1.0L; compact cars have a displacement ranging from 1.0-1.6L; mid-size cars have a displacement ranging from 1.6-2.5L; executive cars have a displacement ranging from 2.5-4.0L; and luxury cars have a displacement >4.0L. Sum of cylinder displacement: Displacement refers to the exhaust volume. The cylinder working volume is the volume swept by the piston from top dead center to bottom dead center, also known as single-cylinder displacement, which depends on the cylinder bore and piston stroke. The engine displacement is the sum of the working volumes of all cylinders, usually expressed in liters (L). Engine displacement is one of the most important structural parameters, more representative of engine size than cylinder bore and number of cylinders. Many engine indicators are closely related to displacement.
