Is driving against traffic a 6-point or 3-point deduction?

Driving a motor vehicle without following overtaking or yielding rules, or driving against traffic, results in a 3-point deduction; reversing, driving against traffic, or making a U-turn across the central divider on a highway results in a 12-point deduction. Driving against traffic is an extremely dangerous violation, and there is no concept of measuring the distance driven against traffic to determine whether it constitutes a violation. There are primarily three scenarios for motor vehicles driving against traffic: 1. On roads with solid dividing lines, motor vehicles entering the opposite lane. This includes double solid lines and single solid lines, which must not be crossed under any circumstances. 2. On roads with dashed dividing lines, it is possible to borrow the opposite lane for overtaking if it is safe, but if an accident occurs, the vehicle borrowing the lane will be deemed to be driving against traffic. 3. On roads marked as one-way, any motor vehicle entering is considered to be driving against traffic.
