Press this button to enter the settings interface. In the recording interface, a short press can also turn the sound on or off. When powered off, press once to turn on. When powered on, press and hold to turn off. Switch between three functions: photo, video, and playback. In the video interface, this button can also be used to enable the forced save function. Downward selection in the menu bar is for lens zoom-out (4/3/2/1x). Upward selection in the menu bar is for lens zoom-in (1/2/3/4x). Use this button to turn the recording function on or off. Some dashcams also use the [OK] button instead.

Checking the C260L's dashcam is quite simple, just operate it directly on the in-car central control screen. First, park the car and turn off the engine, then start the engine to power up the system. Next, click the menu button at the bottom of the screen to enter the main interface. Scroll to the vehicle settings or multimedia options, find an icon resembling dashcam or safety features and tap to open it. Inside, there will be a playback list showing recorded videos - you can swipe with your finger to preview different clips and even fast-forward or slow down playback. Remember to regularly check if the dashcam is enabled in settings to prevent it from stopping, as it defaults to automatic overwriting, so important events should be promptly saved and exported. Videos are usually stored in internal storage or on a memory card which can be removed for viewing. The whole process takes about two minutes and isn't complicated - I've been driving this car for three years and always check footage this way, finding it particularly convenient without needing to use a phone.

Should You Release the Handbrake or Shift Gears First in an Automatic Transmission?

Generally, you should shift gears first and then release the handbrake. Here is an introduction to starting an automatic transmission car: 1. Starting in P gear: When starting in P gear, there may be a slight impact force on the parking gear. When shifting from P gear to D gear after ignition, the transmission passes through R gear, which causes a small amount of backlash force and slight damage to the transmission. 2. Recommended shifting method: First, power on, press the brake and shift to N gear, ignite, then shift to D gear to start. As long as you do not stay in R gear, the transmission will not perform a gear shift. 3. Shifting logic: Modern automatic transmissions do not rely on the gear lever to directly drive the gear shift but on the transmission control system. After receiving the gear signal, the transmission control system calculates and then makes the shifting decision.

Is it allowed to turn off the engine when driving a small car down a steep slope?

It is not allowed to turn off the engine when driving a small car down a steep slope, as this operation poses significant safety hazards. Consequences of coasting with the engine off: Coasting with the engine off will result in the loss of brake assistance and engine braking force, relying solely on the friction between the brake pads and brake discs for braking. This can easily cause the brake pads to overheat, leading to a loss of braking effectiveness. Additionally, the power steering pump will also fail, resulting in the loss of steering control, creating a dangerous situation with neither steering nor braking. Correct way to descend a steep slope: When descending a steep slope, use engine braking. For manual transmission cars, shift into 1st or 2nd gear, and for automatic transmission cars, shift to L gear. At the same time, avoid pressing the brake pedal for extended periods.

Can I Take Subject 4 Before Subjects 2 and 3?

You cannot take Subject 4 before Subjects 2 and 3, as you need the transcript of Subject 3 to take Subject 4. Therefore, you must take Subject 3 first. Below is some information about the test location and passing criteria for Subject 4: Introduction to Subject 4: "Subject 4" is the "Safe and Civilized Driving Knowledge Test" of Subject 3. It is the final part of Subject 3, but the test is conducted in a computer room rather than in a motor vehicle. It is taken only after passing the on-road test of Subject 3, which is why it is separately referred to as "Subject 4." Passing Criteria for Subject 4: The Subject 4 test consists of 50 questions, presented in the form of case studies, images, animations, etc. The maximum score is 100, and a score of 90 or above is required to pass.

What tests are required for upgrading from C1 to B1 license?

C1 license holders who wish to upgrade to a B1 license need to take three tests, which are: Subject 1 (Road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge test); Subject 2 (Field driving skills test); Subject 3 (Road driving skills test and safe civilized driving common sense test). C1 driver's license: The C1 driver's license is one of the motor vehicle driver's license codes. The scope of the C1 license includes small and micro passenger vehicles, light and micro cargo vehicles; light, small, and micro special purpose vehicles; and small passenger vehicles with a seating capacity of 9 or fewer people. Application age: The minimum age requirement for a C1 license is 18 years old, with no upper age limit. However, applicants over 70 years old must pass tests on memory, judgment, and reaction abilities.

What is the wear limit for brake discs?

Brake disc wear is generally determined by a 5-year period or a wear limit of 1.6mm. Below are the relevant details: Brake Pads/Brake Discs: High-end vehicles usually have an alert system to indicate when brake pads need replacement. If this feature is not available, it is recommended to have the maintenance technician check them during each service. The general wear limit for brake pads is 2mm (same for front and rear brake pads). It is advisable to replace them when they wear down to approximately 2mm remaining, as failing to do so may result in longer braking distances and, in severe cases, inability to stop the vehicle. Engine Peripheral Belts: Most vehicles are equipped with peripheral belts. Regardless of the number of belts, they should be replaced every 60,000 kilometers or 4 years. When replacing the belts, the belt guide wheels and tensioners should also be replaced simultaneously. Otherwise, belt breakage or guide wheel jamming during driving may cause the wheels to malfunction.

What is the reason for the bulge in the middle of the rear seat of a car?

Below are the reasons why there is a bulge in the rear seat of a car: 1. To increase the height between the car chassis and the ground, because the chassis of a family car cannot be too close to the ground, which would threaten driving safety. In the early days of German car manufacturing, a beam structure was used, and the most important feature of this structure is that it can ensure the integrity of the car body in a collision. 2. To protect and arrange the exhaust pipe and drive shaft, the rear seat of the car needs to have a certain bulge. The exhaust pipe and drive shaft need to pass through the middle of the chassis, so a groove must be designed to arrange the drive shaft and exhaust pipe. The design of the groove strengthens the hardness of the chassis and improves the overall safety of the vehicle. 3. Cars with a bulge in the middle of the rear seat have relatively higher body strength than flat-bottomed cars, which is considered for safety to protect the lives of passengers.
