Use comfort, comfort+. Found comfort mode a bit abrupt. Switched to eco mode for lower throttle response and easier speed control. Switched to sport mode, having previously set it to chassis-only mode. Usually keep it off, only turning it off when anticipating long red lights.

In the BMW 740, I find the driving modes quite intuitive. For daily commuting, I prioritize Comfort mode—the steering is light and comfortable, and the suspension filters out bumps, making it ideal for city traffic. The mode switch is located on the center console's Driving Dynamics button; just press it and rotate the iDrive knob to select a mode. ECO mode stands out for fuel efficiency, with gentle throttle response and reduced AC output, saving a lot of fuel on highways. Sport mode, on the other hand, is entirely different—the engine responds aggressively, gear shifts are eager, and cornering support is strong, making it perfect for weekend joyrides. Remember to test it on a safe stretch first to avoid distractions. Beginners are advised to use Sport mode sparingly, as it can easily lead to loss of control. When switching modes, the suspension and steering automatically adjust to enhance driving dynamics. During maintenance, check the button responsiveness to ensure everything works properly.

My BMW 740's driving mode operation is simple and efficient. There's a button on the center console called Driving Experience Control - just press it to rotate through Comfort, Eco Pro, or Sport modes. On highways, I prefer Sport mode where the engine delivers explosive power, the transmission delays upshifts, road feedback becomes sharper, and cornering feels exceptionally stable. But in city traffic or rainy conditions, I immediately switch back to Comfort or Eco mode for better fuel efficiency and safety. The system optimizes air conditioning and throttle response, achieving over 10% long-term fuel savings. First-time users should practice mode selection in parking lots - the menu displays real-time feedback on current settings. The suspension automatically adjusts stiffness, reducing fatigue on long drives. Remember to have technicians check system response time during maintenance to ensure flawless operation.

In the BMW 740, I prefer to activate the driving modes via the central iDrive menu. Simply select the Driving Dynamics option and choose the mode with the rotary knob. For night driving or rainy conditions, Comfort mode is prioritized—it offers lighter steering and softer suspension, enhancing control safety. ECO mode significantly improves fuel efficiency, though throttle response is slightly delayed, making it ideal for daily commutes. Sport mode revs up the engine on highways, doubling the driving fun. The switching process is quick and intuitive, so even beginners can handle it with ease.

When driving the BMW 740, I mainly use the driving modes to enhance comfort. For example, during long-distance driving, Comfort mode is optimal, providing smooth steering wheel operation and good suspension buffering to reduce bump fatigue. The mode switch button is located next to the gearshift lever—simply press the button to select Comfort mode. ECO mode is fuel-efficient in the city, with optimized and gentle throttle response; Sport mode offers faster acceleration but is not recommended for frequent use. The suspension automatically adapts, making cornering more stable. The system design is simple and easy to learn. I often check the current mode status in the car's menu.

The driving mode operation of my BMW 740 is easy to use. After starting the car, locate the Driving Experience Control button in the central control area, tap to open and rotate to select modes: ECO PRO, COMFORT, and SPORT. ECO PRO mode has slower throttle response for better fuel efficiency; COMFORT mode offers balanced performance as the ideal daily choice; SPORT mode delivers quick response and exhilarating handling. First-time users should test in an open area, as noticeable changes in steering or suspension can be felt after switching. The menu provides real-time prompts to aid understanding. For commuting, the COMFORT mode is commonly used to enhance safety. The system remembers the last selection and automatically activates it, eliminating the need for repeated setup.

What are the symptoms of a throttle valve malfunction?

Throttle valve malfunction symptoms 1. Unstable engine idle: The engine idle is unstable, high idle speed persists and does not decrease, the engine is difficult to start, especially cold starting is difficult. The engine idle is unstable or there is no idle. Use a fault diagnostic tool to perform a throttle valve check, observe the data stream, and clean the throttle valve if the opening is too large. Generally, replacement is not necessary unless there are permanent fault codes. 2. Engine starting difficulty: If the throttle valve fault is determined to be permanent after inspection, the throttle valve must be replaced. 3. Insufficient engine power: Poor engine acceleration performance and unstable operation. Replace the throttle valve. The throttle valve is generally not repairable and should be replaced as an assembly.

Why does it show as failed when I passed the subject one test?

It indicates that there is an issue with the examinee's test information. The applicant needs to promptly check the test records at the driving school to verify whether the subject one score in the records is a pass. Below is more relevant information: 1. The applicant can also directly inquire about the test results at the vehicle management office. If the vehicle management office shows a normal passing result, it indicates a network system issue, which does not affect the test score. 2. Passing standard: The full score is 100, and achieving a score of 90 or above within 45 minutes is considered a pass. The retake scoring standard is the same. 3. Each test session has two attempts, with a total of 5 test sessions, amounting to 10 test opportunities.

What is the idle speed of an automatic transmission car?

Under normal conditions, the idle speed of an automatic transmission car is 700-800 RPM. Below are the specific details about car idle speed: 1. High idle speed: The hazards of high idle speed include increased fuel consumption, elevated engine operating temperature, and accelerated machine wear. 2. Low idle speed: The hazards of low idle speed include stalling during startup, which can damage the engine and starter if frequently restarted. Additionally, excessively low idle speed may lead to stalling while driving, and long-term operation can cause carbon buildup in the engine cylinders, resulting in weak acceleration. 3. Prerequisites for idle speed adjustment: The engine temperature must be normal, valve clearance appropriate, ignition system functioning properly, all pipelines well-sealed, choke fully open, and throttle able to close tightly.

How many liters of coolant does a Prado require?

Prado requires approximately 7 liters of coolant. Generally, the coolant reservoir has a max and min level mark, and the coolant should be filled between these two marks. For most family cars, the coolant replacement requires 4-6 liters, depending on the vehicle. Methods to determine if coolant is insufficient: Observe the coolant warning light on the dashboard. If it lights up, it is likely due to insufficient coolant, though it could also be caused by excessively high engine temperature. Check the coolant reservoir. If the level is below the minimum mark (MIN), do not continue driving and add coolant promptly. Check the water level marks on the coolant reservoir. The normal coolant level should be between the max and min marks. Whether the coolant is insufficient depends on the marks. If the coolant is below the minimum mark, it indicates a shortage.

What to Do When the Car Steering Wheel Becomes Heavy?

Solutions for a heavy car steering wheel are as follows: 1. If the steering wheel becomes heavy while driving, slow down, pull over promptly, and check for oil pipe leaks. 2. Inspect the vehicle's tire pressure. Low tire pressure can make the steering wheel heavy, and air leaks can also cause this issue. Inflate the tires if necessary. 3. If there is excessive play in the front suspension system, replace the lower control arm after inspection. 4. Check if the power steering pump belt is too loose. Tighten the belt if it is loose. Also, check if the fluid is too dirty, which can impair flow. Typically, replace the fluid every 2 years or 60,000 kilometers.
