How to Use the Cruise Control in the 2021 Buick Excelle?

To activate the cruise control, press the cruise control button and then push down the "SET-" lever to start cruise control. To turn off the cruise control function, simply press the button again. Press the button or gently apply the brakes to cancel the cruise. To set the cruise speed, push down the "SET-" lever to decrease the speed limit. In cruise control mode, a short press will decrease the speed by 1 km/h, while a long press will decrease it by 5 km/h. To increase the speed limit, push up the "SET+" lever.
As a repair shop technician, I've seen many new car owners confused about cruise control. In the Buick Excelle 2021 model, you need to reach 40km/h to activate it. Look for the button on the left side of the steering wheel with a speedometer icon, press it to illuminate, and a white cruise indicator will appear on the dashboard. Then accelerate to your desired speed, say 80km/h on the highway, and quickly press the SET/- button with a minus sign at the bottom. When the indicator turns green, the speed is set. To adjust speed without pressing the accelerator, use the +/- buttons to change speed in increments of 1.6km/h. If you encounter a situation, pressing the brake or cancel button will pause the system. When the road is clear, pressing the RES button will return to the previously set speed. A reminder: on downhill sections, the system might not control the speed effectively, so it's safer to apply some brake yourself.
