When I first bought my automatic transmission car, I was quite puzzled by the Auto Hold function, but after trying it once, I fell in love with it. The usage is super simple: after starting the car, find the Auto Hold button near the dashboard and press it to activate the system; when waiting at a red light or in traffic, step on the brake to bring the car to a complete stop, and a small light will appear on the dashboard—this means the car is automatically braked, so you don’t need to keep pressing the brake pedal. To start moving again, just lightly press the accelerator, and it will automatically release the brake and move forward. I love using it on slopes the most—no more worrying about rolling back and hitting the car behind. At first, I was a bit nervous about whether the car might move on its own, but after a few tries, I found it to be very safe and effortless. In daily driving, it reduces foot fatigue, especially in heavy traffic, freeing up my hands to adjust the music or check the navigation. Just remember to turn it off when towing or washing the car to avoid interference. Overall, it’s extremely beginner-friendly.
