How to Use Lights in Rainy Weather?

If the rainfall is light, you can turn on the width indicator lights. Water on the road surface will be kicked up by the rolling tires of the vehicle in front, creating a mist. In this situation, you can turn on the car's headlights or front fog lights.
When driving in the rain, I immediately turn on the low beam headlights to improve my visibility and ensure others can see my car. Even if the rain isn’t heavy, I still do this because rain can significantly reduce visibility. If the rain intensifies, such as during a downpour, I turn on the front and rear fog lights (if equipped) to make it easier for vehicles behind me to spot my position. Remember, never use high beams in the rain, as they can reflect back into your eyes and make it harder to see the road. Additionally, before heading out, I always check that all lights are functioning properly, including the wiper linkage, to prevent water droplets from obstructing my view. Developing this habit has made rainy-day driving much safer and gives me peace of mind, especially on long trips.
