How to use faw-vwlink in Tayron?

Tayron uses faw-vwlink as follows: 1. Download faw-vwlink, open the Android Auto module on the car's navigation system, scan the QR code to download and install it on your phone; 2. After installation, launch the Auto software on your phone and keep it running; 3. Connect your phone to the car's Bluetooth and enable USB debugging on your phone; 4. Start the Auto software on the car's system, and your phone will display 'Connection successful, please operate through the car system'; 5. Once the car system successfully syncs with the phone apps, the Auto main page will be displayed, and you can use the phone mirroring function to project your phone's features, allowing you to connect your phone's navigation to the car's screen. Tayron is a mid-size SUV under Volkswagen, with dimensions of 4589mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1660mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2731mm.
When I drove the Tayron before, I tried using the faw-vwlink app, which felt quite simple but required some patience. First, you need to download a mobile app called FAW-VW Link from the app store—just search for it on Android or iOS. After downloading and installing, open the app and register an account, usually with a phone number and verification code. Then, get into the car, start the engine, and find the settings menu on the Tayron's infotainment screen. Select the Bluetooth or QR code connection option, and either scan the code on the car's display or pair via Bluetooth. Once connected, I could remotely lock the doors, check fuel levels, or pre-start the air conditioning, which was especially handy for post-parking management. Once, a friend couldn’t use it, and we found out their phone system was too old and needed an update—so I recommend checking the compatibility list before switching to a new device. For maintenance, keeping the app updated and syncing it with the car’s system helps avoid lag issues. The whole setup took about 10 minutes, and the free features were sufficient for daily use.
