How to Turn on the Heater in a Haval M6?

After starting the car, it takes approximately 6 to 8 minutes for the water temperature to rise to the normal level. At this point, you can turn on the heater. Adjust the air conditioning's circulation mode to internal circulation and switch to the heater mode, indicated by the red zone. Set the air conditioning to a suitable temperature level, generally above 25 degrees Celsius, and adjust the air vent direction upwards.
When I first drove the Haval M6, I wasn’t quite sure about the heating controls either, but I figured it out eventually. Remember to start the car first and let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up—otherwise, turning on the fan might just blow cold air. Then, on the central control panel’s AC unit, find the temperature adjustment knob or button, turn it to the right into the red zone or set it to a higher number, like between 27 to 28 degrees. At this point, make sure the A/C button is turned off since it’s for cooling—don’t let it stay lit. For the fan speed control, adjust the airflow knob to your preferred level, starting low and gradually increasing. Wait a minute or two, and warm air will start blowing from the vents—it’s especially cozy in winter before driving. It’s also a good habit to regularly check the cabin air filter to ensure smooth airflow and reduce odors. In short, take your time with the controls—it’s both safe and practical.
