Lavida's headlight operation method: Adjust through the light control lever and rotary knob. Turn the light switch to the low beam position to turn on the low beams; push the car light lever forward to turn on the high beams, and pull it backward for a single high beam flash. The brightness of the lights can be controlled by adjusting the rotary knob positions. The following are maintenance methods for car headlights: 1. Regularly check the sealing of the headlights, and replace the sealing ring between the lens and reflector if it is damaged. 2. Clean the reflector regularly, and replace it if it turns black or the brightness decreases. 3. Regularly clean dust and stains on the bulbs.

I've driven several Lavida models, and the basic operations are quite similar. First, sit in the driver's seat. There's a knob or lever on the left side of the steering wheel. For knob-type controls, turning it clockwise once activates the position lights (a green indicator will appear on the dashboard), and turning it one more notch turns on the low beams. To activate the high beams, push the entire lever toward the steering wheel, and a blue high beam indicator will light up. The fog light switch is usually located next to the knob - look for the button with a wavy arrow symbol. Remember to manually turn on the lights at night, and don't forget to activate them when driving through tunnels during daytime. For models with automatic headlights, setting it to AUTO mode is the most convenient option.

Turning on the headlights of the Lavida varies in two scenarios. For older Lavida models, there is a round knob on the left side of the dashboard near the driver's seat. Turning it to '0' means off, to the cat's eye symbol for parking lights, and all the way to the slashed pattern for low beams. Newer Lavida models use the left lever on the steering wheel for control, with a knob at the end marked AUTO/OFF/parking light symbol. To activate the high beams, regardless of the model, push the lever towards the front of the car until it clicks, indicated by a blue light on the dashboard. For rainy or foggy conditions, press the additional fog light button, located next to the light knob, marked with a fog symbol.

All lighting functions are concentrated in the control area on the left side of the steering wheel. Locate the stalk head with the light symbol and rotate it to the corresponding position: O means off, the parking light is indicated by a small light icon, and the low beam is represented by a diagonal line icon. On the new Lavida models, the knob is integrated into the stalk head, while older models have a separate round knob. To activate the high beams, push the entire stalk forward. For fog lights, press the separate fog light button nearby. In automatic transmission models, simply turn to AUTO mode and the lights will automatically turn on in tunnels or when it gets dark.

The lighting control logic of Volkswagen cars is very consistent. In the Lavida, you can find the light stalk above the left knee area. The rotary knob at the end has four positions: OFF for turning off; AUTO for automatic mode; the position light symbol resembles a small bulb; the low beam is indicated by a left-slanted line symbol. To activate the high beam, simply push the stalk towards the front of the car. It will spring back when released, but the high beam remains on. Pushing it all the way until you feel resistance will lock the high beam in place. Remember to turn on the front and rear fog lights when it's raining. The fog light button is located to the left of the light rotary knob.

It depends on the model year. For pre-2018 Lavida models, the light knob is located on the far left of the dashboard. Turn it to the symbol with a diagonal line to activate low beams, and push the left steering column lever forward to engage high beams. For post-2018 models, simply rotate the knob at the end of the left lever: OFF for off, AUTO for automatic, and the diagonal line symbol for manual lighting. Regardless of the model year, high beams are activated by pushing the lever fully forward until the blue high beam indicator appears on the instrument cluster. Fog lights require pressing a separate physical button with the fog light icon.

How to Solve the Problem of BMW 525 Fuel Tank Not Accepting Gasoline?

If the air pipe inside the fuel tank is blocked, you should go to a repair shop and use an air gun to blow it clear. Check the fuel pump in the tank to see if it is working properly. This requires removing the rear seat, opening the fuel tank, and taking out the fuel pump to check for any damage. If a fault is found in the car's battery, electrolyte should be added promptly or it should be cleaned in time. When the engine is running, the fuel pump draws gasoline from the fuel tank. Since the fuel tank is sealed, the space created by the extraction needs to be filled with gas.

How to Control the Steering Wheel When Reversing to the Right Rear?

Before reversing, stay calm, observe the surroundings carefully, and decide whether the rear of the car should go left or right. Turn the steering wheel to the left, and the rear of the car will move to the left; turn it to the right, and the rear will move to the right. When the rear of the car leans to one side, you should correct it by steering in the opposite direction. If the car leans to the left, you need to move it to the right to straighten it, so turn the steering wheel to the right. Otherwise, do the opposite.

How to Solve the Issue of Smoke Coming from the Diesel Heater Air Intake?

Determine whether the smoke is white or black based on its color You can appropriately increase the size of the vent. Under conditions of insufficient oxygen supply, compressed diesel fuel cannot burn quickly, which leads to the situation where there is smoke but no flame. Unscrew the connecting nut between the high-pressure oil pipe and the fuel injector, then loosen the nut connected to the fuel injection pump. Adjust the angle of the high-pressure oil pipe head upwards and then tighten the nut. This is caused by a malfunction in the air filter component inside the heater. It is necessary to inspect and repair the air filter of the heater, specifically checking whether the air filter component is faulty.
