You need to press the brake pedal to start the engine. Turn the key to the ST position to start the engine until the idle speed stabilizes. Turn the fan speed knob to the far right for maximum airflow. Rotate the cold/hot mode knob to the left to activate the cooling mode. Press the A/C button to turn on the compressor. Press the interior circulation button to activate the recirculation mode. The car's air conditioning control area can be found in the center of the dashboard. The "A/C" button in the air conditioning control area activates the cooling function.

To operate the air conditioning, first step on the brake and press the start button to power on the vehicle. Locate the physical button with a snowflake symbol near the driver's side on the center console and press it directly to activate cooling. At this point, a blue snowflake icon will light up on the center display, and cool air will immediately flow from the vents. Adjust the temperature using the large rotary knob on the left—for summer, setting it around 22 degrees is recommended for optimal comfort. Control the fan speed with the plus and minus buttons marked with a fan symbol. For rapid cooling, remember to direct the vents toward yourself.

After driving the Little Ant for three years, I found a trick to make its air conditioning cool down super fast. First, press the AC button to turn on the compressor, then light up the recirculation button (the icon shows two arrows in a circle) to prevent hot air from outside. Set the fan speed to level 4 or higher and turn the temperature knob all the way to the left to the LO position—you'll feel the chill within 10 seconds. If you don't mind the noise, you can also roll down the windows to let out the hot air first, then close them once the cabin cools down to save more energy.

We girls who drive the Little Ant like to add some practical accessories. It's recommended to buy a holder and clip it next to the air vent, so you don't have to look down for the temperature knob while driving. Using a sunshade is especially important—I always put up the silver reflective one when parking, and the interior temperature can be more than ten degrees lower than without it. In summer, when wearing shorts, be careful not to let the air vent blow directly on your knees, which can cause discomfort. You can adjust the middle vent blades upward to avoid this.

Simplest 3-step operation: 1. Start the vehicle 2. Press the blue snowflake AC button on the left side of the center console 3. Rotate the left dial with temperature markings. For automatic AC versions, it's even easier - just press the AUTO button and wait for cool air. If cooling is poor, first check the cabin air filter (replaceable by opening the glove box). Also, blocked condenser in the front black grille by willow catkins can cause poor cooling - simply rinse it with a water gun during car wash.

When I first picked up the new car, I noticed the air conditioning cooled slowly, but later figured out the tricks. Holding the unlock button on the key fob for three seconds opens the windows in advance to dissipate heat; selecting the AC option when remotely starting via the APP ensures the car is cool upon entry. The key is using the MAX button (snowflake with MAX label) to force maximum cooling power for five minutes, which is twice as fast as manual adjustment. Running the AC while charging drains the somewhat quickly, so it's advisable not to use it for extended periods when the remaining range is below 100 kilometers.
