How to turn off lane departure warning in CR-V?

Press the LDW button located on the center console, to the right of the audio display control knob, to turn the system on or off. Vehicle→"Lane Assist" interface for function selection: Warning only, Correction only, Warning + Correction.
I've been driving a Honda CR-V for several years, and the Lane Departure Warning system can be quite intrusive on highways, especially when changing lanes—it keeps beeping incessantly. Turning it off is straightforward: while driving, simply press the button on the steering wheel, usually labeled 'LDA' on the left side. Press it once, and the indicator light turns off, with the dashboard displaying 'Lane Departure Off.' If you can't locate the button, navigate to the infotainment screen's settings menu, select 'Vehicle Settings,' then 'Safety Assist,' and toggle off the Lane Departure slider. Some model years require the vehicle to be stationary to adjust this, while newer ones allow changes while driving. However, remember that this feature is designed for safety—once disabled, stay focused, especially when fatigued or on unfamiliar roads. I once kept it off long-term and nearly sideswiped a roadside obstacle; now, I only disable it briefly during short city drives. Additionally, the system reactivates automatically after restarting the car, so it's wise to double-check the settings each time you drive.
