How to Start and Park the Haval Chulian?

Depress the brake pedal to bring the vehicle to a complete stop, and the vehicle will automatically apply the parking brake. At this point, the auto-hold function is active. The parking brake will then be automatically released. If the accelerator pedal is not depressed for an extended period, the auto-hold function will deactivate, and the vehicle will automatically switch to electric parking to apply braking force.
Starting the Haval Chulian is quite simple. Normally, I like to first check if the seatbelt is fastened, then press the brake pedal with my right foot, insert the key and turn it clockwise to the START position. Once I hear the engine sound, it means the car has started successfully. For the keyless version, just press the brake pedal and push the start button. When parking, first stop the car steadily on a flat surface, straighten the steering wheel, shift the gear lever to P, engage the electronic handbrake or manual handbrake, and finally turn off the key to shut down the engine. Don’t forget to check if the windows and lights are all turned off. A few more practices and you’ll get used to it—safety first, no rush.
As a driver, I believe starting any car should be done step by step. When starting the Haval First Love, ensure the gear is in P or N, press the brake with your right foot, turn the key to ACC with your left hand to warm up for a short while, then turn to START. Release the key after the engine runs normally. When parking, first slow down and stop steadily, shift to P position, pull up the handbrake to secure the wheels, and confirm there are no obstacles around the vehicle before turning off the engine. If parked on a slope, the handbrake should be pulled tighter. Remember, checking tire pressure and fuel level before starting can avoid trouble.
Operating the start-stop function of the Haval Chulian is not difficult. To start, first sit in the driver's seat, press the brake pedal, turn the key to START to ignite the engine, or simply press the start button if it's a keyless system. After the engine is running, gently press the accelerator to test. When parking, first press the brake to bring the vehicle to a complete stop, shift to the P gear, pull up the handbrake lever or press the button, turn off the ignition, and then lock the doors before leaving. The entire process should be done gently to protect the transmission.
