How to Set Up Automatic Mirror Tilt When Reversing in CR-V?

Power on the vehicle but do not start the engine (press the start button without stepping on the brake). Select the side mirror you want to set by pressing the mirror adjustment selection button (left or right). Step on the brake, shift to R (Reverse) gear, and the selected mirror will automatically tilt down to the factory preset position. Adjust it to your desired position using the adjustment buttons. Press and hold the seat memory button (1, 2, or 3) for about 2 seconds, step on the brake, shift to P (Park) gear, and press the mirror adjustment selection button once more to complete the setup.
When I was a new driver, I was always worried about scraping while reversing. Later, I found the auto-tilt function on the CR-V super practical. It automatically adjusts the rearview mirror angle when shifting into reverse gear, helping you see the rear wheels or curbs clearly. The setup is quite simple: first, park the car in a safe place, start the engine in P gear; then open the menu on the central control screen, find 'Vehicle Settings' or 'Driver Settings,' and enter the mirror options; select the 'Reverse Tilt' function and enable it—the system will then prompt you to adjust the mirror to the ideal tilt position; finally, save it to the seat memory button, and it will work automatically next time you reverse. Remember to use it with the reverse radar for added safety. Now that I'm used to it, reversing feels much easier, especially in tight parking spots in residential areas.
