How to set the time on an older Kia K2?

At this point, the dashboard will light up. Press the button on the left side of the dashboard to adjust until the hour section of the dashboard time starts flashing. Each press increases the hour number by one. Adjust to the correct time. Release the button and wait until the hour section on the dashboard stops flashing. Then press the button on the left side of the dashboard again to adjust until the minute section starts flashing. Each press increases the minute number by one. Adjust to the correct time. Once the numbers stop flashing, the time is set.
Adjusting the time on the older K2 is actually quite simple, and I see many newbies getting stuck here. First, look at the row of buttons on the left side of the steering wheel and locate the button labeled 'TRIP' and the 'RESET' key. With the engine off, press and hold the 'RESET' key for about 3 seconds until the dashboard display starts flashing. At this point, you can use the 'Trip' key to adjust the hours. Release and press 'Trip' again to adjust the minutes. Once adjusted, wait until the display stops flashing. If you can't find these two buttons, check the lower right corner of the dashboard behind the steering wheel—some model years have a small black dot button for settings there. Remember to do this only when the car is parked and the engine is off; it's fine if the ignition is on but the engine isn't running. Otherwise, the dashboard will display driving computer data, making it impossible to adjust.
