How to reset the tire pressure warning on a Mercedes-Benz GLC260?

First, use the steering wheel buttons to switch the instrument cluster LCD display to the mileage interface. Press the R button and wait for about 30 seconds, the tire pressure warning light will automatically reset.
Last time my Mercedes-Benz GLC260 also had the tire pressure warning light on, I immediately pulled over and used a tire pressure gauge to check all four tires, ensuring the pressure was around the recommended 2.5 bar by Mercedes-Benz. After confirming everything was fine, I got back in the car, started the engine, and pressed the left button on the steering wheel a few times to enter the vehicle settings menu on the dashboard. I then found the tire pressure monitoring option and selected reset. The whole process took less than two minutes. If the tire pressure is too low or too high, the warning light might still flash, so self-checking before resetting is a must. I also make it a habit to regularly inflate my tires to avoid such minor issues, as maintaining proper tire pressure can extend tire life, improve driving safety, and even save some fuel costs. It's best to check the tire pressure more frequently during seasons with significant temperature changes, rather than waiting for the warning light to take action—that's too passive.
