How to reset the tire pressure light on the Volkswagen Lamando?

Method to eliminate the tire pressure light on the Volkswagen Magotan: First, turn on the ignition switch, then press and hold the tire pressure monitoring reset button until you hear a "ding" sound, then release it. The tire pressure monitoring system will store the current normal tire pressure data, automatically clear the previous data, and finally, the warning light on the dashboard will turn off, completing the tire pressure reset. There are three commonly used tire pressure monitoring methods: Direct tire pressure monitoring: The direct tire pressure monitoring device uses pressure sensors installed in each tire to directly measure the tire pressure. It uses a wireless transmitter to send the pressure information from inside the tire to a central receiver module, which then displays the tire pressure data for each tire. Indirect tire pressure monitoring: When the pressure in a tire decreases, the weight of the vehicle will cause the rolling radius of that tire to become smaller, making it rotate faster than the other wheels. By comparing the rotational speed differences between the tires, the system monitors the tire pressure. Introduction to the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): It combines the advantages of the two systems mentioned above, equipping direct sensors in two diagonally opposite tires and a 4-wheel indirect system.
I drive a 2019 Lamando and just encountered a tire pressure warning last week. First, pull over to check if the tire pressure in all four tires is normal. If there are no punctures, you can reset it. For the base model without a touchscreen, look for a button near the left-side light knob on the steering wheel with a tire and exclamation mark symbol. With the car started and stationary, press and hold this button for 5 seconds until you hear a beep and see the tire pressure light on the dashboard blink twice before turning off. For higher trim models with a touchscreen, simply go to Vehicle Settings - Tires - SET Tire Pressure Reset in the infotainment system. Note that after resetting, you must drive the car for 10 minutes to allow the system to relearn the tire pressure. Once, I turned off the car right after resetting, and the light came back on the next day. If you’ve changed the wheel size, you can also adjust the tire pressure reference value in the background settings.
