How to repair Honda ABS pump VSA solenoid valve failure?

Open the brake fluid reservoir cap, then use a brake fluid suction tool to clean the brake fluid. When preparing to remove the oil pipes with tool 11 and tool 14, remember the position of each pipe. After removing the screws from the clamp, create space, and finally pull out the two pipes.
Last time the ABS warning light came on in my Honda, and I felt the brakes were a bit soft. I knew it was an issue with the VSA solenoid valve. Initially, I tried to inspect it myself and checked the manual, which suggested it might be due to poor wiring contact or a damaged coil. I measured the resistance with a multimeter and found the values were off, but I didn’t dare to tamper with it. Later, I drove to the 4S shop, and the technician said this kind of fault is quite common. They needed to remove the pump assembly and replace the entire solenoid valve module because the valve core could get stuck due to debris or wear, leading to brake system failure. The repair cost around 2,000 RMB and took half a day. The whole process taught me to address dashboard warnings promptly—otherwise, ABS failure on the highway poses a big risk. Now, I’ve developed a habit of regularly cleaning brake components to avoid dust buildup.
