The method to remove the steering wheel airbag of Volvo XC60 is as follows: 1. Locate the screw hole on the left side of the steering wheel and loosen it using a T40 tool. Note that it cannot be completely unscrewed due to internal restrictions. 2. Locate the screw hole on the right side and loosen it using a T40 tool. 3. After loosening the fixing screws on both sides, detach the driver's airbag from the steering wheel. It cannot be completely removed yet as it is still connected by the clock spring wiring harness. 4. There is also a clock spring wiring harness connection on the back of the driver's airbag, which needs to be removed. 5. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to release the fixing clip of the wiring harness, putting it in a non-fixed state. 6. Use the small flat-head screwdriver to disengage the yellow locking device of the connector. Note that the yellow part must be released first before the black part can be detached. 7. After releasing the locking device, use the small flat-head screwdriver to detach the black part of the connector, and then the main airbag can be completely removed.
