Haval H6 front face removal method: Open the front hood, remove the 4 nuts on the top of the front bumper, then lift the front bumper slightly upwards and pull it out a bit. There are 4 small screws behind the grille that need to be removed. After that, it's just clips left, which require a bit of force to release. Then, remove the screws behind the grille to completely detach the front bumper, and finally remove the grille. The Haval H6 is a flagship model under the Haval brand, positioned as an urban SUV. It offers Mitsubishi 2.0L gasoline-powered models and Green Power 2.0T diesel models, available in three versions: Urban, Elite, and Premium.

I've actually done the disassembly of the Haval H6 front bumper several times. First, you need to pry open the plastic cover near the hood latch in the engine compartment - there are six or seven clips inside. Then remove the screws at the front of the left and right fender liners, which are quite small and require a special socket. Crawl under the car to unscrew all eight cross-head screws on the protective plate - this part is the most back-breaking. The crucial step is using a pry bar to gradually separate the clips between the front bumper and fenders; you'll hear a click when they release. There's also an angled locating pin on each side of the front end that needs to be pulled straight out - too much force can break it. Throughout the process, you must support the bottom of the bumper and move it out slowly. Remember to unplug the fog light wiring harness connector hidden on the left inner side. If you're replacing the grille, you'll need to separately remove its mounting clips by prying them open with a flat-head screwdriver. When reinstalling, make sure the license plate bracket locating holes are properly aligned.

The process is divided into four modules: First, open the engine hood and remove the upper cover of the intake grille, which involves six screws and hidden clips. Then, lift the car to handle the screws on the underbody shield—you'll need a 10mm socket. Next, remove two bolts at the front of each wheel arch liner, after which you can separate the fender clips. Here's the key part: when lifting the bumper, first disconnect the fog light connector. The grille is independently fixed, and the seven reverse hook clips at the back must be pressed from the inside out for removal. Wear gloves throughout to prevent cuts, as plastic parts are prone to brittleness in cold weather. Prepare a T20 and a Phillips screwdriver. Finally, when reassembling, remember to tuck the license plate light wire back into its slot.

Only a screwdriver and a pry bar are needed for the tools. First, remove the front cover of the fan in the engine compartment, secured by 7 cross screws. When lying under the car to remove the guard plate fixing bolts, pay attention to the angle to avoid stripping. Use a gentle force to push and pull the fender junction clips towards the rear of the car. When lowering the entire bumper, use your knee to support the central buffer, and take photos to remember the wiring before unplugging connectors. The clips on the back of the grille can be pried open with a fingernail. During reassembly, the most challenging part is aligning the positions at the corners of the headlights. First, hook the top clips and then firmly press the edges.

The disassembly is carried out in three synchronized steps: upper, middle, and lower. For the upper step, remove the plastic cover near the hood latch. The middle step involves unscrewing the fasteners connecting the wheel arch liner. The lower step deals with the mounting points of the underbody panel. The critical locking point is at the junction near the headlight, which requires lifting and pulling outward simultaneously. The fog light connector has a waterproof rubber ring—avoid pulling it forcefully; instead, press the latch and slide it out smoothly. The grille requires both hands to press the clips inward from the engine side. The entire process can be completed by one person, but it's best to have an assistant hold the bumper, especially for models equipped with ACC radar, as extra care is needed for the sensor bracket.

Remember this core principle: disassemble from the outside inward, and reassemble from the bottom up. The specific steps are: first remove the 9 cross screws from the chassis to lift the protective plate, then release the fixing tabs inside the wheel arch liner. After removing the 6 screws from the grille top cover inside the engine compartment, use a plastic pry bar to go around the bumper gap to separate the clips. There are hidden snap fasteners at the license plate frame position that need to be pressed inward to release. Place the removed bumper on a soft cloth to detach the grille, whose back hook structure requires a flat push to disengage. During reassembly, first align the inner positioning posts of the headlights before tightening the screws, and protect the clips throughout the process to avoid breakage.
