How to Remove the Catalytic Converter?

The catalytic converter is the most important external purification device installed in the automobile exhaust system. First, disconnect the oxygen sensor from the converter. To remove the exhaust manifold assembly with the built-in catalytic converter or to remove the catalytic converter separately, unscrew the fastening bolts between the converter and the exhaust manifold. Then loosen the connecting nuts between the converter and the secondary muffler, and disconnect the converter from the secondary muffler. Finally, disconnect the converter from the converter hanger and remove the converter and the sealing components.
