Before installing the new box, clean the pipe debris and apply the refrigeration oil evenly. Finally, vacuum for at least half an hour to ensure system sealing. The entire process requires a lift and professional equipment. If inexperienced, it's safer to go to a repair shop.

The lesson I learned from repairing the Excelle's evaporator box is: don't skimp on seal costs! The disassembly process is actually clear: power off→recover refrigerant→remove dashboard→remove blower→remove evaporator housing→replace new box→reverse installation. But last time I didn't replace the seals, resulting in refrigerant leakage two weeks later. Now I know all rubber components must be replaced simultaneously, including O-rings at pipe connections. Also, check if the drain pipe is clear after installation, otherwise AC condensation water will leak into the car.
