Rotate the outermost knob on the control lever one notch forward to turn on the parking lights. Rotating it one more notch forward from this position will activate both the parking lights and the low beam headlights. The high beam function on the Emgrand is not controlled by a knob but by the movement of the light lever. Pushing the light lever upward will activate the right turn signal, while pushing it downward will activate the left turn signal. To operate the fog lights, rotate the middle knob ring on the light lever forward until the front fog light symbol aligns with the fog light indicator arrow. Continuing to rotate the knob ring forward will also turn on the rear fog lights.

Driving with the Geely Emgrand, the light switch is actually quite simple. The switch is on the stalk to the left of the steering wheel. Just gently rotate the knob to control: the first position is the parking light, suitable for brief stops at night; turn it all the way to turn on the low beam, which is sufficient for daily driving. Need high beams? Push the stalk forward once; pull it back to switch back to low beams. I often use it in the city, and the automatic light function is very convenient—it adjusts the brightness automatically based on light intensity. If the weather is bad, such as heavy rain or fog, remember to find the separate fog light button nearby to turn it on. When operating, just look at the icons on the switch—it’s clear at a glance, and new drivers can get used to it in a few days. This design helps me avoid distractions and stay focused on the road for better safety.

Operating the light switch of the Geely Emgrand feels like second nature to me. The switch is conveniently located on the left-hand stalk—just turn the knob to turn on the lights, push or pull to toggle between high and low beams, and the whole process is smooth and effortless. On highways or at night, turning on the high beams improves visibility, but remember to switch back when there's oncoming traffic. The fog light button is particularly useful—I always turn it on in foggy conditions to enhance visibility. The auto mode is a great convenience, reducing the need for frequent adjustments. The switch design is intuitive, with clear icons that prevent accidental touches. This ease of use makes my daily driving more relaxed, especially on long trips where quick light adjustments don’t distract my focus.

When I drove the Geely Emgrand, I really appreciated the user-friendly lighting controls. The stalk on the left side of the steering wheel has a rotary knob - twist it to turn on parking lights or low beams, push forward for high beams. The automatic version adjusts brightness automatically, which is super convenient. Fog lights have a separate button that's easy to operate. The clear icon indicators mean you don't need to look down while driving.

The design of the Geely Emgrand's light switch is very user-friendly. In my daily driving, I found the switch position easy to reach, the knob turns lightly, and the light switching is smooth. Turning on the low beam only requires a gentle rotation to the corresponding gear, while the high beam is operated by a push rod. The automatic function is a highlight, especially at dusk or in tunnels, where the system automatically adjusts the brightness. The simple operation means I can keep my eyes on the road, reducing the risk of accidents. The small icons next to the switch help beginners without needing to check the manual. This approach enhances overall driving comfort.

Key points for correctly operating the Geely Emgrand lighting switch. The rotary knob is on the left stalk: first position for parking lights, second for low beams. Push the lever forward to activate high beams, but avoid excessive force to prevent damage. I remind myself to use fog lights only in severe weather to avoid unnecessary consumption. Auto mode is a great assistant, eliminating the hassle of manual adjustments. Proper operation extends switch lifespan – for instance, avoid unnecessary frequent toggling. Clear icons on the switch aid in remembering light types; developing this habit enhances lighting system reliability and reduces maintenance issues.

What is the condition of a car with 50,000 kilometers on the odometer?

Condition: It is neither a new car nor an old car. The specific reasons are as follows: 1. The scrapping mileage for a car is 600,000 kilometers. If a car has traveled 50,000 kilometers, it cannot be considered as having high mileage. However, it is important to pay attention to car maintenance. A car with 50,000 kilometers requires more maintenance items. 2. The condition of a car cannot be judged solely by its mileage; it depends on the degree of use and maintenance. (1) If a car has traveled 10,000 kilometers but is 10 years old, it cannot be considered a new car because many parts of the car may have aged over time. (2) If a car has traveled 50,000 kilometers but is only 3 years old, then this car with 50,000 kilometers will be in better condition than a car with 10,000 kilometers. When using a car, it is important to focus on maintenance to extend its lifespan.

How Often Should the Drive Belt Be Replaced?

For ordinary vehicles, the drive belt should be replaced after one and a half to two years of use. Alternatively, replacement can be done when the mileage reaches 60,000 kilometers. The drive belt, being a rubber component, is prone to wear and aging over time. Therefore, manufacturers have strict requirements regarding the replacement of the drive belt and its accessories within specified periods. Generally, the drive belt should be replaced when the vehicle has traveled approximately 60,000 to 100,000 kilometers. Notes: 1. Beyond 50,000 kilometers, regular inspections should be conducted to promptly detect any abnormalities in the timing belt. This primarily involves listening for unusual sounds, as wear and tear often give early warning signs, such as abnormal noises or unusual odors caused by wear. The exact replacement time is clearly specified in the vehicle's maintenance manual. 2. Check the belt for cracks or signs of aging. If any are found, replacement is recommended. This is because if the timing belt suddenly breaks while driving, it can bend the valves inside the engine.

How to Determine a Stop in Subject 2 Driving Test?

The criteria for determining a stop in the driver's license Subject 2 test is that any pause lasting more than 2 seconds within the test area is considered an intermediate stop. This judgment is made because the GPS positioning system detects the vehicle in a completely stationary state for over 2 seconds during the test. Reasons for intermediate stops: 1. Not slightly lifting the clutch when turning the steering wheel to full lock: Many intermediate stops occur during moments like reversing into a parking space, parallel parking, or making a U-turn in narrow roads when the steering is fully locked. This happens because once the steering is fully locked, the front wheels turn at a very large angle, increasing driving resistance. 2. Normally controlling the vehicle speed too slowly: While driving slowly may seem steady, encountering larger road bumps or uneven surfaces during the test can easily cause the vehicle to stop. Therefore, slower speed isn't always better. As proficiency improves, the speed can be slightly increased. 3. Not fully pressing the brake during an intermediate stop: After parking in parallel parking, if the brake isn't held down firmly after the first press, and the right foot naturally relaxes during subsequent actions, causing the vehicle to roll back, and then braking again immediately, this will also be judged as an intermediate stop.

What Causes Oil Leakage in the CR-V Transmission?

The causes of transmission oil leakage are as follows: 1. Cause one: After prolonged use of the vehicle, some components may age, leading to hardening and deterioration of various sealing parts, which lose their original elasticity. 2. Cause two: During engine operation, the transmission also works under high-intensity conditions, which can sometimes cause the sealing strips to break, resulting in oil leakage or seepage from the transmission. This phenomenon is difficult to avoid. 3. Cause three: The transmission requires fluid for lubrication during operation. Transmission oil primarily serves to lubricate and clean, while also protecting the transmission and extending its service life during operation.
