How to Install the Chery Ant Charging Pile?

Car owners are responsible for coordinating with relevant departments. If it is a free installation by the 4S store, then there are no cost issues involved. For the power distribution room's re-electrification, the power company will run the cable from the switch to the charging pile for approximately 200 meters, and management fees will be paid to the property management company.
Last time I helped a friend install an Ant charging station, it was quite a hassle. First, we had to confirm whether the residential community allowed installation, especially for fixed parking spaces. The property management usually issues an installation consent letter, which needs to be photographed along with the ID card and submitted directly on the State Grid app to apply for an electricity meter. I opted for a 7kW AC charging station during installation, and if the wiring distance exceeds 30 meters, additional charges apply, but Chery officially covers the basic installation within 30 meters. A special reminder: don’t let the electrician skip grounding out of laziness! If you feel a tingling sensation when touching the car body while charging, it means the grounding wasn’t done properly. It’s recommended to install a stainless steel protective box to prevent kids from tampering with the charging gun. After installation, use the Chery app to scan and activate the charging station. You can also monitor real-time current and voltage during charging, which is super convenient.
