Method for installing car door anti-collision strips: 1. Wipe the area where the anti-collision strip needs to be installed clean with a towel; 2. Peel off a small portion of the adhesive tape inside the anti-collision strip to better secure its position; 3. Attach the adhesive side of the anti-collision strip to the desired installation area; 4. Press the anti-collision strip along its direction while peeling off the remaining double-sided tape; 5. Trim any excess anti-collision strip that protrudes, and the installation is complete. There are two types of door anti-collision strips: patch-type and strip-type. The patch-type anti-collision strip is a small adhesive block with double-sided tape on one side, usually attached to the most vulnerable areas of the door. This type offers limited protection but has a relatively refined appearance, providing some decorative effect. The strip-type has a U-shaped cross-section with double-sided tape on the inner side of the U. When installed, the U-shaped groove is embedded into the edge of the door. This type offers a larger protective area but has a simpler appearance, which may somewhat affect the vehicle's aesthetics.
