To cancel the tire pressure warning light on your car, simply reset the warning light and it will disappear. Press and hold the SET button with the tire pressure symbol located on the right front of the gear lever for an extended period. If the tire pressure is normal, the warning light will turn off. Alternatively, you can press and hold the tire pressure monitoring button until the light goes off to reset it. Then press the tire pressure monitoring button again until the light comes back on.
I remember when driving the 2013 Mondeo, its tire pressure monitoring was mainly displayed on the central information screen of the dashboard. After starting the vehicle, there were arrow keys (up, down, left, right) on the button to the right of the steering wheel. By pressing them a few times, I could scroll through the menu on the screen to find the vehicle settings or tire pressure option. Once entered, it showed the specific values for each tire, such as 2.3 bar for the front tires and 2.4 bar for the rear tires. If the tire pressure was too low or the system detected a leak, an additional yellow warning light would flash to remind me to stop and check immediately. Sometimes, the sensors would give false alarms on rainy days, and I would need to go to a professional shop to reset them. Overall, the operation was straightforward, but it was essential to ensure the screen was activated after ignition. Before driving, I always glanced at the tire pressure data, thinking this feature was really convenient, helping to avoid the risk of a flat tire on the road. I recommend that car owners develop the habit of checking it regularly, just in case.
