Before connecting the Honda dash cam to your phone, first insert a memory card. It is recommended to use a larger capacity memory card. Although the dash cam can record in a loop, a larger memory card helps prevent protected content from filling up the storage space. After inserting the memory card, you can proceed with the following connection steps. Honda Dash Cam Connection Steps: 1. Install the official Honda mobile app "DVRLink" on your phone. 2. Briefly press the activation button on the dash cam to enable the wireless connection function (the blue indicator light will stay on). 3. Open your phone and search for the wireless connection "HONDADVR". 4. Click to connect and enter the password: 1234567890. 5. Once connected, open the app to access real-time features such as recording, taking photos, playback, downloading, sharing, and system settings. If the Honda dash cam fails to connect, check the following: 1. Ensure the WiFi password is entered correctly. The default password for Honda is 1234567890. 2. Verify that the correct app is installed. The official Honda mobile app is "DVRLink". 3. If the password and app are correct, check if your phone can detect the dash cam's wireless connection "HONDADVR". If detected, confirm whether the app has WiFi permission. 4. If the issue persists, try connecting while the vehicle is running, as the WiFi connection may be unstable when the vehicle is off. 5. Bluetooth or mobile data on your phone might interfere with the WiFi signal. Turn off Bluetooth and mobile data and try again. 6. If all else fails, restart your phone's WiFi or the dash cam's WiFi.
