How to Close the Sunroof?
2 Answers
When opening or closing the electric panoramic sliding/tilting sunroof, always ensure that no one is within the operating range of the sunroof. Always take all car keys with you when leaving the vehicle. Never leave children or people requiring assistance alone in the vehicle, especially with access to the car keys. Misoperation of the car keys may lock the vehicle or start the engine.
When I first started driving, I didn't know much, and closing the sunroof was a little trick. Usually, you just gently push the button on the roof forward to close it, but you have to make sure it's completely shut without any gaps. Otherwise, rainwater can seep in and soak the seats. I remember one time after camping, I was so tired that I forgot to close it, and a midnight downpour drenched all the luggage in the trunk—I regretted it deeply. Now, I've developed the habit of checking the button before parking and regularly cleaning the dust from the rails to prevent jamming. On the highway, leaving the sunroof open creates a lot of wind noise, which affects driving focus, so I close it as soon as the car moves. When the weather changes, keeping it tightly shut maintains a comfortable temperature inside—simple and hassle-free.
