How to Clean Engine Oil Off Hands?

Apply some soap or wash with warm water on the areas stained with engine oil. Nail polish remover at home can also clean engine oil. Apply some nail polish remover, and after three to four minutes, you can wash off the areas stained with engine oil. Soak your hands in vinegar, then in hot water, and you can easily clean off the engine oil. Alcohol can remove engine oil, but if the oil has hardened, it may be more difficult. First, soak your hands in warm water with white vinegar, then wipe with alcohol.
Dealing with engine oil stuck on your hands can be quite troublesome. From my car repair experience, I’ll tell you: first, use a cloth or paper towel to wipe off excess oil—don’t rush to rinse with water. Then, find a sink, squeeze some dish soap or bar soap onto your hands, and scrub, focusing on the greasy areas. Once it lathers, rinse with warm water. For stubborn oil, sprinkle some flour or cornstarch on your hands and rub—it acts like an oil-absorbing sheet. Finally, check that your skin is clean and apply some hand cream to prevent dryness. Remember to wear gloves while working to avoid tightness in your hands afterward.
