The rearview mirror button is generally located on the left-hand side armrest in the cockpit. Turn the knob to the left icon to adjust the left rearview mirror; adjust the left rearview mirror so that the car body occupies one-quarter of the entire mirror. Turn the knob to the right icon to adjust the right rearview mirror; adjust the right rearview mirror so that the road occupies two-thirds of the mirror.

Adjusting the rearview mirror buttons is actually quite simple. I've been doing it this way myself for over a decade of driving. First, sit in the driver's seat and adjust the seat position to maintain a normal driving posture. Then locate the buttons, usually on the center console or door, marked L and R for left and right mirrors. Press to select the mirror you want to adjust, then push the adjacent cross-shaped control lever to move the mirror up, down, left, or right. Gradually test different angles until you can clearly see the entire road behind without any blind spots. Remember to set it before driving and avoid moving it—some car models allow adjustments while driving, but safety comes first. If I can't get it right after a few tries, I pull over to recalibrate. With the correct rearview mirror angle, reversing and lane changing become much safer.

When I first started learning to drive, I didn't know how to adjust the rearview mirror buttons, but I got familiar with them after some exploration. The button locations vary by car model—some are below the steering wheel on the left, while others are on the door armrest. The operation is simple: after turning on the ignition, press a selector button to choose the left or right mirror, then use the directional buttons to adjust the angle. I adjust mine to just capture the full view of the rear lane while showing a bit of my car's body for better judgment. Beginners are advised to have a friend help check the position to avoid accidents from improper adjustment. After adjusting, remember to lock the windows to prevent dust from entering the switches.

The rearview mirror adjustment button relies on a motor to move the mirror. To operate, first start the car, press the select button to choose the left or right side, then use the joystick to change the mirror position. The goal is to eliminate blind spots and ensure coverage of the road behind. Modern vehicles also integrate anti-glare or heating functions, controlled through the same set of switches. After adjustment, check from multiple angles to avoid errors. If the button malfunctions, it may be due to wiring or motor issues.
