Sagitar's cruise control activation method: The cruise control button is located on the left side of the multifunction steering wheel, featuring an icon resembling a car's speedometer. Below this button, there are plus and minus buttons used to adjust the speed. Press the cruise control button, set the desired speed, and the system will maintain it. The cruise control system, also known as the speed control system or autonomous driving system, allows the vehicle to maintain a set speed without the driver needing to press the accelerator pedal. I have quite some experience with the cruise control on my Sagitar, especially for long-distance driving which makes it super convenient. First, start the car and get moving. Then, hit the SET button to lock in the current speed. For minor speed adjustments, use the +/- buttons nearby to increase or decrease by a few km/h. The easiest way to cancel cruise is a light tap on the brake, which instantly disengages the system, or there’s often a dedicated CANCEL button on the wheel. Always use it on straight, less curvy roads, and for safety, never activate it in heavy traffic or complex conditions. I’ve found this feature great for saving fuel and reducing fatigue, but it’s crucial to stay alert—keep scanning the road and maintain full control.
