Not many. If you've had to jump-start your car three or four times because you left a light on, you're probably on borrowed time. Each time it goes completely dead, it's like a heart attack for the battery. It might come back, but it's never as strong as it was. If it's an old battery, even one deep discharge could be the end. Get it tested at an auto parts store; they'll tell you straight up if it's holding a charge.

Think of it less as a specific number and more about the battery's overall health. A brand-new quality battery might survive being completely drained five or six times if recharged properly each time. An older battery that's three years into its life might only handle one or two deep discharges before it gives up. The key is how it behaves after you recharge it.
