How many kilometers should the throttle be replaced?

The throttle does not have a fixed replacement mileage or service life, and it needs to be replaced only when it is damaged. The throttle is located at the engine intake port, and its function is to control the air entering the engine. After the gas enters the intake pipe, it mixes with gasoline to form a combustible mixture, which then burns to perform work. Precautions for using the throttle are: 1. Clean the throttle frequently. Excessive sludge on the throttle can cause insufficient engine power and increase fuel consumption; 2. Apply oil to the fixed metal retaining ring before disassembly to prevent thread stripping; 3. After cleaning, maintaining the throttle opening as before cleaning may cause excessive air intake, leading to engine shaking during startup and weak acceleration.
I've been driving a taxi for twenty years, and honestly, there's no fixed mileage for replacing the throttle body. Unlike oil filters that get changed on schedule, this depends on the actual condition of the car. Last time my car was accelerating sluggishly and idling like a massage chair, the mechanic took a look—wow, the back of the throttle body was caked with sludge like sesame paste. He advised me: for cars that frequently deal with city traffic, cleaning every 30,000 to 40,000 kilometers is enough, costing 150 yuan for disassembly, cleaning, and recalibration. If it still shakes after cleaning, then consider replacing it—but in my 800,000 kilometers of driving, I've only encountered that three times. Remember, after replacing the throttle body, don’t forget the ECU recalibration, or your idle speed might shoot up to 2500 RPM!
