Four hours of driving at night is considered fatigued driving. Definition of fatigued driving: According to Article 62, Paragraph 7 of the "Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law" in China, driving a motor vehicle continuously for more than four hours without stopping to rest or resting for less than 20 minutes is considered fatigued driving. Penalties for fatigued driving: Driving large or medium-sized passenger vehicles or vehicles transporting hazardous materials will result in a fine of 200 yuan and 12 penalty points; driving non-large or medium-sized passenger vehicles or vehicles not transporting hazardous materials will generally result in a fine of 200 yuan and 6 penalty points; if a major traffic accident occurs due to fatigued driving, violating criminal law, the driver will bear corresponding criminal responsibility.
