When I was preparing for my C1 license, I specifically researched the training hour requirements. For Subject 2, you need to complete at least 16 training hours, with a maximum of 4 hours per day. Out of these 16 hours, at least 6 must be actual behind-the-wheel practice, while the rest can be simulator training or theoretical instruction. Half of my training hours were spent just on reverse parking - my instructor said it's the most common failure point. Remember to bring your ID card for clock-in during practice sessions; nowadays everything uses electronic timing, and the system won't allow testing if you're even one minute short. Important reminder: After completing the hours, you must wait a full 14-day training period before scheduling the test - don't think you can take the exam immediately after meeting the hour requirement.

Just finished accompanying my cousin practicing for Subject 2 of the driving test. The requirements for obtaining a driver's license are becoming increasingly standardized. For the C1 manual transmission Subject 2 test, 16 valid training hours are required, with at least 6 hours dedicated to practical operations. My cousin spent 8 hours practicing reverse parking in the driving school's training vehicle, 3 hours on instrument light operations, and the remaining 5 hours practicing hill starts on a simulator. It's advisable to ask the instructor to print out the training hour slip after each session, as some students ended up practicing for two days without it being recorded due to equipment failure. By the way, after completing the required training hours, you still have to wait two weeks before you can schedule the test.

Just finished training a batch of students, let me share the details about Subject 2 training hours. For C1 license, Subject 2 requires a total of 16 training hours: 4 hours for basic driving and 12 hours for field driving. The focus should be on hill start and reverse parking, which require at least 7-8 hours of practice. Use fingerprint + facial recognition for clocking in, with one check-in before and after each training session. Note the retake rules: failing requires an additional 10 training hours. I recommend practicing in rainy weather too, as adapting to real road conditions is crucial. Remember, the system takes 3 days to review submitted training hours.

Just passed Subject 2 last month, here to report. Practical training requires a maximum of 4 hours of clock-in per day. For reversing into the garage, it's best to practice continuously for 3 sessions to get a feel for the car. Our driving school practices steering wheel and lights in the morning (2 sessions), and focuses on reversing in the afternoon (4 sessions). Important reminder on timing details: timing starts only after the coach car is started, and waiting with the engine off doesn't count. You can see real-time training hours on the driving training App downloaded on your phone. When I reached the 12th hour, it suddenly showed as invalid. The coach said the camera didn't capture my face clearly, so that hour of practice was wasted.

As a driving instructor, I remind you: C1 Subject 2 consists of 4 parts of training hours. 2 hours for theoretical explanation of basic operations, 10 hours for practical vehicle training (including 4 mandatory hours for reverse parking), and 4 hours for simulating special road conditions. Remember to swipe your ID card + facial recognition before and after each training session, as the system automatically deducts invalid operation time. It is recommended to practice reverse parking and parallel parking consecutively to save repeated check-in time. After completing the required hours, don't rush to leave; have the instructor check if the system has successfully uploaded the data, as some students have had their exams delayed due to this.

What Causes a Dash Cam to Flash?

A flashing red light on a dash cam indicates that it is in normal recording mode, which is a normal phenomenon. During driving, the dash cam usually activates automatically when it detects vehicles or pedestrians within the lens range, triggering the recording function. A dash cam is a device that records images, sounds, and other relevant information during vehicle travel. After installation, it can capture the entire driving process in video and audio, providing evidence in case of traffic accidents. It can also serve as a parking monitor. The video footage from a dash cam should not be edited, as tampering with the footage may render it useless in determining liability during accidents. Additionally, it helps prevent unavoidable fraudulent claims in today's society. A dash cam can record continuously while driving, capturing details such as time, speed, and location. It can also be used at home as a DV camera to record life's moments or as a home surveillance device.

What are the new regulations for vehicle scrappage?

The new regulations stipulate that registered motor vehicles that fail to obtain the motor vehicle inspection qualification mark for three consecutive inspection cycles after the expiration of the inspection validity period will be forcibly scrapped. The vehicle scrappage process is as follows: First, the car owner applying for scrappage and renewal must fill out the "Application Form for Motor Vehicle Modification, Transfer, Modification, Suspension, and Scrappage Approval" and affix the owner's seal. Then, wait for the registration acceptance office to issue the "Vehicle Scrappage Notice" for vehicles that have reached the scrappage age. For motor vehicles that have not reached the scrappage age, after being verified by the motor vehicle inspection office and meeting the scrappage standards, the "Vehicle Scrappage Notice" will be issued. Next, the owner should choose a qualified recycling company to dismantle the vehicle with the "Notice". After verifying the "Notice", the recycling company will dismantle the vehicle and take photos. The requirements are that the engine must be separated from the vehicle, the engine block must be broken, and the frame (chassis) must be cut. Finally, the owner should submit the "Modification Form", "XX Province Vehicle Renewal Technical Appraisal Form", "Scrapped Vehicle Recycling Certificate", and photos of the dismantled vehicle to the motor vehicle inspection office for verification and signature. After the license plates and certificates are reclaimed and the approval is reported according to regulations, the private vehicle scrappage registration can be completed.
