The Magotan does have a plug-in hybrid model, which is based on the overseas eighth-generation Passat B8. Compared to the previous generation, this car features a more youthful exterior design, and its overall styling aligns well with modern consumers' aesthetic preferences for automobiles. Unlike the fuel-powered version, the Magotan plug-in hybrid model includes GTE-specific badges on the left side of the front grille and the vehicle's flank. The front headlights on both sides adopt the brand's signature C-shaped daytime running lights, and the tires feature a unique turbine-blade design exclusive to the plug-in hybrid variant. In terms of powertrain, the Magotan plug-in hybrid is equipped with a 1.4T engine, an electric motor, and a ternary lithium battery pack. The engine delivers a maximum power of 110 kW and a peak torque of 250 Nm, while the electric motor provides a maximum power output of 85 kW.
