Does the Haval H5 meet China 6 emission standards?

Currently, the Haval H5 does not meet China 6 emission standards. The models available for sale comply with China 4 and China 5 emission standards. Automobile emission standards are national regulations established to limit the production of harmful gases such as CO (carbon monoxide), HC plus NOx (hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides), and PM (particulate matter, soot) emitted from vehicle exhaust. The Haval H5 is a compact SUV under the Haval brand, with body dimensions of 4645mm in length, 1800mm in width, and 1775mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2700mm. The Haval H5 is equipped with two types of engines: a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine.
The Haval H5 is quite an interesting vehicle. Last time I accompanied a friend to the used car market, I specifically checked the emission issues. It was discontinued in 2018, and the last batch produced only met China National V standards. The China National VI emission standards weren't implemented until 2020, right? So there's absolutely no way the H5 models on the market could meet China National VI. However, some car enthusiasts mentioned that the overseas version could barely pass by modifying the catalytic converter, but that's in a gray area and still wouldn't pass the annual inspection. If you really want a hardcore off-roader, you'd better look at other models currently in production.
