Does the fourth-generation Highlander have a gasoline version?

The fourth-generation Highlander may not necessarily launch a gasoline version, but it certainly has a fuel-powered version. Powertrain: The currently available Highlander lineup adopts the fourth-generation THS-2 hybrid system, which has already been implemented in models like the Camry and Highlander. This system consists of a 2.5L Atkinson-cycle naturally aspirated engine, an E-CVT electronic continuously variable transmission, a battery pack, and a PCU power control unit. Vehicle Layout: Except for the entry-level 2.5L Hybrid 2WD Elite trim, which is a 5-seater, all other mid-to-high-range models in the lineup feature a 7-seat configuration. Additionally, the fourth-generation Highlander extends the second-row seat sliding track by 30mm compared to the previous generation, resulting in a larger entryway to the third row and further improved comfort.
