BMW 525 is equipped with an automatic parking function. When using the automatic parking feature, the vehicle speed should be below 35km/h. To activate it, press the automatic parking assist button located to the left of the electronic handbrake button, which will automatically detect parking spaces on both sides of the road. This system only supports parallel parking on the left or right side. How to use the BMW 525 automatic parking function: Press the PDC button to turn on the automatic parking function and ensure that it is indeed activated. Drive at the required speed, allowing the ultrasonic sensors to effectively detect parking spaces. If a suitable parking space is detected, the central display screen will show a "Please Stop" prompt. Bring the vehicle to a stop, and the system will prompt you to choose between parallel or perpendicular parking. Then, select accordingly based on the situation. Precautions: During automatic parking, the driver must pay attention to the surroundings. If any abnormalities are detected, immediately apply the brakes manually or release the PDC button to exit the automatic parking mode.
