The Audi A4L is equipped with an auto start-stop function. The all-new Audi A4L comes standard with engine auto start-stop technology. Usage of the auto start-stop technology: When the all-new Audi A4L is in a stopped state (not in parking mode), the engine will pause operation (instead of maintaining traditional idling). During this pause, the lubricating oil inside the engine continues to circulate, ensuring the engine remains lubricated. Advantages of the auto start-stop technology: When the brake pedal is released, the engine will restart. Since the lubricating oil has been continuously circulating, even frequent stops and starts will not cause wear and tear to the engine internals.
