Does Privacy Glass Require Tinting Film?

Privacy glass requires tinting film. During the manufacturing process of privacy glass, specific pigments are added to give the glass heat insulation and light-blocking properties. However, privacy glass cannot effectively block infrared rays, which can still cause excessive heat inside the vehicle. Therefore, it is necessary to apply tinting film on privacy glass. Precautions after applying car tinting film include: 1. Avoid rolling down the windows within three days after application to prevent displacement of the film that hasn't fully adhered; 2. Do not wash the car for three days, but you can use a damp towel, sponge, or soft cloth to clean the film surface; 3. For vehicles with sunroofs, avoid opening the sunroof while driving, especially at high speeds, within three days; 4. Do not clean the heat insulation film or turn on the defroster switch within one week after application.
