Does Changan Automobile have a particulate filter?

Changan Automobile does not have a particulate filter. Function of the particulate filter: The particulate filter can reduce soot produced by diesel engines by more than 90%, and the captured particulate emissions are subsequently burned off during vehicle operation. Principle of the particulate filter: The diesel particulate filter is coated with metals such as platinum, rhodium, and palladium. The black smoke containing carbon particles emitted by the diesel engine enters the engine exhaust particulate trap through a dedicated pipeline. After passing through the densely arranged bag-type filters inside, the carbon soot particles are adsorbed onto the filter made of metal fiber felt. When the adsorption of particles reaches a certain level, the burner at the end automatically ignites and burns, incinerating the adsorbed carbon soot particles into harmless carbon dioxide that is then expelled.
As an owner of Changan Automobile, I recently researched the issue of particulate filters. Many new models from Changan are indeed equipped with this device, especially gasoline-powered vehicles under the China VI emission standards, such as the CS75 or Eado series. The particulate filter is a small device installed in the exhaust pipe to filter out particulate matter from the exhaust, making the car more environmentally friendly. This is quite crucial nowadays, as car buyers now check whether the emissions meet standards—otherwise, the vehicle might face driving restrictions. When I asked technicians during maintenance at the 4S store, they mentioned that if you frequently drive at low speeds in urban areas, the particulate filter is prone to clogging, requiring regular highway driving to burn off accumulated soot. I think Changan is doing well in terms of environmental protection, but owners need to pay more attention to maintenance to avoid high costs later on.
