Only some model series have the remote start function. Some model series do not have the remote start function. Model series without remote start: The original BMW vehicles are not equipped with this function, but they are equipped with remote software upgrade functionality, which can be configured through the BMW ConnectedDrive store. Many BMW models can wirelessly install this system, including the 320i, 330i, and M340i models produced since July 2019, the entire 4 Series Coupe lineup produced since July 2020, the 520i and 530i models produced since July 2020, and the 740i, 740Li, and 840i models produced since July 2019.
