Do Traffic Monitoring Cameras Capture Traffic Violations?

Traffic monitoring cameras do not capture traffic violations. Traffic Monitoring Cameras: Traffic cameras are usually integrated with electronic eyes and are primarily used to count vehicle flow. When a car passes a section of road with frequent flashing lights, it is not capturing violations but rather counting the traffic volume on that stretch of road. Speed Monitoring Cameras: These are used to measure vehicle speed and capture images of speeding vehicles. They typically appear as rectangular boxes with connected radar modules. When the radar detects a speeding vehicle, the camera is triggered to take photos for evidence. Electronic Police (E-Police): Electronic eyes are generally installed at intersections or along road sections. They monitor violations such as running red lights, driving in the wrong direction, illegal lane changes, not following designated routes, and crossing lane lines in real-time. The captured images are uploaded to the control center as evidence.
