I wouldn't try it unless my charger has a "start" setting. Regular battery chargers just aren't built for that kind of power draw. You could fry the charger. If the battery is totally dead, you're better off just letting it charge for a few hours or using jumper cables from another car. It's a lot safer and more reliable than risking it.
