The vehicles permitted on the bridge include five categories: cross-border buses, shuttle buses, cross-border taxis, cross-border freight vehicles, and cross-border private cars. Below is relevant information about vehicles allowed on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge: Vehicles allowed on the bridge: In addition to cross-border buses, shuttle buses, cross-border taxis, and freight vehicles, approved Guangdong-Hong Kong dual-plate vehicles from the Huanggang, Wenjindu, Shatoujiao, and Shenzhen Bay ports can directly use the bridge without additional permits. The validity period for these vehicles to use the bridge is temporarily set at two years. Important notes: Vehicles that have applied for a one-time quota and other vehicles agreed upon by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao authorities can also drive on the bridge. However, vehicles with a one-time quota do not have entry privileges and must remain in the port parking lot or on the artificial island.
