Can motorcycle tires be replaced with a larger size?

Motorcycle tires cannot be replaced with a larger size. Reasons why this should not be done: Tires and rims have a corresponding relationship in width and cannot be installed arbitrarily. A tire of a certain width must be mounted on a rim of the corresponding width. Wide tires require wide rims. If the tire becomes wider, the rim must also become wider accordingly. The scenario of a wide rim with a narrow tire is virtually non-existent. Here, we are mainly discussing the situation of a wide tire on a narrow rim. In such cases, no matter how wide the tire is, it will not achieve the desired effect. After increasing the air pressure, the tire will become round, and the flattened shape will revert to round. The expansion in diameter will be significantly greater than the expansion in width, ultimately only reducing the curvature of the tire's cross-section, resulting in poor performance. Curvature of the tire's cross-section: The greater the curvature, the larger the tire diameter and the contact area, with the maximum being flat (but unable to lean, only usable on four-wheeled vehicles). Therefore, motorcycle tires also have curvature, and manufacturers have standards in this regard.
