Can mineral water be used as windshield washer fluid?

Mineral water cannot be used as windshield washer fluid. Windshield washer fluid itself has functions such as cleaning the windshield, anti-static, anti-fog, lubrication, and anti-freeze. Using mineral water will dilute the washer fluid, causing varying degrees of impact on the car, and may even affect the service life of the wiper blades. Mineral water itself has no lubricating effect, and long-term use can cause severe scratches on the car's windshield. Additionally, it increases the friction of the wiper blades, leading to jumping and abnormal noises during use. Furthermore, mineral water contains many other components that can produce sediment. Accumulation of this sediment can clog the pipes, thereby affecting the service life of the reservoir.
