Color change film cannot be used as paint protection film. Second, the PVC material of color change film has poor toughness and cannot self-repair after scratches. In contrast, high-quality paint protection films like BOP use TPU base material with a biomimetic nano-coating on the outermost layer, enabling self-repair for minor scratches. Lastly, color change film focuses more on achieving cool color effects and generally does not consider daily environmental corrosion or damage to the film, resulting in relatively shorter warranty periods.
