Analyze and recommend policy and process improvements Apply Now MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the enterprise cybersecurity applicion infrastructure, ensure compliance with customer policies, and deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 maintenance and onboarding support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing knowledge in the creion, editing, and management of scan policies, audit files, scan jobs, reports, dashboards, and custom content for specialized cybersecurity systems including Tenable Nessus tools and ServiceNow integrion. Performing engineering support and system administrion of specialized cybersecurity applicions and systems to include installion, configurion, maintenance, pching, and back-up/restore. Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 maintenance support for deployed cybersecurity technologies and customer onboarding. Analyzing and making recommendions for policies, procedures, and processes in order to increase efficiencies and streamline program activities. Interacting with other team members and customers multiple levels to gher, supply, or coordine informion, while ensuring compliance with all Enterprise service requirements, CONOPS, and System Security Plans. Identifying potential conflicts with the implemention of cybersecurity tools within the enterprise and providing ideas for automing repetitive project tasks through scripts. Minimum Qualificions: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of experience in lieu of degree 5+ years of Cyber experience Experience with the Tenable product suite and vulnerability scanning. Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administrion, general opering system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts. Knowledge of ServiceNow. Ability to organize, plan, and multi-task with tention to detail. Must have or be willing to obtain IAT Level II certificions within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualificions: Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of AWS technologies. Knowledge of federal Cyber Security Guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 and NIST 800-137 continuous monitoring. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and resolve problems effectively. Strong ability to effectively interact with various levels of senior management. Clearance Requirements: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions.
